About Metro Austin Office Space Markets

Austin - The State’s Capital, is also referred to as the Live Music Capital of the World. The Central Business District holds a majority of the multi-story office buildings as well as low-rise and converted single family homes used as office space. Sixth Street is home to a number of live music venues, nightclubs, bars and restaurants. Congress Avenue from Lady Bird Lake to the Capital marks the center line of the downtown area with a mix of commercial buildings from retail to Class A office. Sixth and Congress is Main and Main. The University of Texas campus is just north of downtown. Another unique feature is that the downtown area is surrounded by heavily-wooded neighborhoods, unlike elsewhere in the state. It is a beautiful area to live and work.

Round Rock - Perhaps the most famous of metro Austin's locally based office headquarters is that Round Rock is the home to Dell Computers, who is also one of the area’s largest employers.
