What makes me unique as an office leasing broker is the fact that I have more than twenty years of experience in office and commercial real estate leasing, and have negotiated scores of leases and lease amendments in over 20 states. Prior to returning to brokerage several years ago, I spent nine years as the head leasing attorney for Glenborough Realty Trust, a New York Stock Exchange traded, multi-billion dollar real estate investment trust. I've negotiated full building and multi-floor office leases, and have negotiated office leases with such companies as Clear Channel Communications, Fed Ex, MetLife, Bella Pictures, Aetna, PruBache, and many others. I've also done retail leases with Lord & Taylor, Circuit City, Outback Steakhouse, Starbuck's, Chipotle, and scores of other national tenants. I am one of the very few leasing brokers in the entire Baltimore-Washington corridor with high level leasing experience on the legal side. I understand every word and every concept in a lease document, including all of the business and financial terms.
